Alliance is excited to launch the Meat Eating Experience — independent validation that the proof really is in the eating. The layers of nature, care and expertise are independently verified using digital technology to ensure a consistent, exceptional meat eating experience.

In pasture-based livestock production systems, Intra-muscular fat (IMF) is measured. IMF has a strong correlation with polyunsaturated fat including omega fatty acids. These are healthy fats which are good for nutrition. IMF is also a key driver of tenderness, juiciness and flavour in beef and lamb

Darren Wright is a chef of the highest calibre, known for his mastery of premium New Zealand red meat. As one of only seven Beef + Lamb NZ Lifetime Platinum Ambassadors, he has spent decades championing excellence in the industry.

With over 10 years as the owner and operator of Chillingworth Road restaurant in Christchurch, Darren built a reputation for crafting unforgettable dining experiences. His skills have been tested and proven on the global stage—he’s been a New Zealand Culinary Team member since 2007, earning seven international gold medals and co-captaining the team at the 2016 Culinary Olympics.

Darren has twice claimed the South Island Chef of the Year title and played a key role in New Zealand’s victories at the invite-only Welsh International Culinary Championships (2009 & 2013).
